SEASON FULL REPORT
This league was the first league that The Crew has hosted. The journey has been a rollercoaster, however a worthwhile one. This report will highlight what was done in a chronological order and will provide suggestions for the next league. The Appendix has details of every post, every message and statistics. Members and players of the league found it fun, enjoyed playing on a team, and making new friends. The organization, structure and execution was well done. Players enjoyed how the league ran to the very end.
TOURNAMENT INFO
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Free agents sign up and are put into one of 5 ELO tiers by the tournament organizer for scouting.
10 teams compete in a double round robin group stage round robin with a single game per match into a seeded single elimination BO3.
(The second playthrough of the round robin will be the same as the first bur reverse side selection)
Group stage ties were broken with respect to RIOT ruleset for LCS.
SCHEDULEING & PRODUCTION
Sign-ups begin 4 weeks prior to scouting phase.
10 team captains are chosen to appear on stream to select their teammates in an intuitive snake draft.
1 week later, teams play two rounds of their matches synchronously to complete group stage games with at least one match per group per match are streamed.
The next weekend playoffs are played with Finals on the next weekend after the double round robin finished.
