Tournament Archive 2020 Jan
This tournament is the second tournament of this type hosted by the Good Vibe Tribe in partnership with MSD's Bastion. 20 teams and over 100 players competed in a 3-week long tournament. The Following reports highlight and detail what was done in a chronological order and will provide suggestions of improvement for next tournament of similar type.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Free agents sign up and are put into one of 5 ELO tiers by the tournament organizer for scouting.
4 Groups of 5 teams each compete in a group stage round robin with a single game per match into a seeded single elimination BO3.
Group stage ties were broken with respect to RIOT ruleset for LCS.
SCHEDULEING & PRODUCTION
Sign-ups begin 2 weeks prior to scouting phase.
20 team captains are chosen to appear on stream to select their teammates in an intuitive snake draft.
2 weeks later, teams start their matches syncronously to complete group stage games with at least one match per group per match are streamed.
The next weekend playoffs are played with Finals on the next weekend.
